Ledger is the main part of tally which is used to create name of transaction items. When we create ledger then we have to define group                                                              

 

How To Create Ledger                         

Process

v   On gateway of tally

v  Select account info and enter button.   

         

v  Then select ledger and press enter button          

                                

v  Then Select option to create ledger.                                                              

 

  There Are Two Modes to create  Ledger

   

Single Ledger:- in this we create display or modify only one ledger at a time.

Create:- it is used to create one ledger at a time and we want to modify any ledger then press page up and page down button.

Display :- it is used to display only one ledger at a time.

Alter:- it is used tto modify only one ledger at a time.

 

Multiple ledger:-  in this we can create , modify and display more than one ledger at a time

Create:- it is used to create more than one ledger at a time.

Display:- it is used to display more than one ledger at a time.

Alter:- it is used to modify more than one ledger at a time and also create the ledger.
