New Presentation: - It is used to create a new presentation from a blank slide.

Process: -

Ø Click on Microsoft office button

Ø Click on new

Ø Click on blank presentation

 

To create a new presentation from a template: -

Process: -

Ø Click on File Tab

Ø Click on new

Ø Click on sample templates

Ø Click on template and choose any template

Ø Click on ok

 

To create a new presentation from an existing presentation: -

Process: -

Ø Click on File tab button

Ø Click on new

Ø Click on new from existing

Ø Select any created presentation

Ø Click on create new

 

Add slide: -This option is used to insert new slide to the presentation like: - Office themes, Duplicate slides or reuse slide.

Process: -

Ø Select the slide immediately before where you want the new slide

Ø Click the new slide button on the home tab

Ø Click duplicate selected slides

 

To create a new presentation from a word outline: -

Process: -

Ø Click the slide where you would like the outline to begin

Ø Click on new slides on the home tab

Ø Click on slides from outline

Ø Browse and click the word document that contains the outline

How to create a new slide from another presentation: -

Process: -

Ø Select the slide immediately before where you want the new slide

Ø Click on new slide button on the home tab

Ø Click on reuse slides

Ø Click on browse

Ø Click on browse file

Ø Locate the slide show and click on the slide to import.

Text direction: -This option is used to change the selected direction.

Process: -

Ø Select your text

Ø Click on home tab

Ø Click on text direction

Ø Select your direction as you need.

 

Adding a photo album: - This feature is allows to easily creating a photo album to save pictures.

Process: -

Ø Click on insert tab

Ø Click on photo album

Ø Click on new photo album

Ø Click on file/disk

Ø Then a dialog box open

Ø Select any picture

Ø Click on insert and click on create


Adding video: - This option is used to add the video in the current presentation and slide.

Process: -

Ø Click the video button on the insert tab

Ø Choose video from file


To edit the video options: -

Ø Click on the video icon

Ø Click on the format / playback tab

Ø Change any setting as per need

 

 Adding audio: - It is used to add the audio clips on the presentation or slide.

Process: -

Ø Click the audio button on the insert tab

Ø Choose audio from file

Themes: - A theme is a set of color font and special effects themes provides attractive background for your PowerPoint slide.

Process for apply theme: -

Ø Click on design tab

Ø Choose any theme from gallery

To apply new colors to a theme

Process: -

Ø Click the colors drop down arrow

Ø Choose a colors set or click create New theme colors

 

To change the background style of a theme: -

Process: -

Ø Click on Background styles button on the design tab

 

Slide transitions: - It is used to change the variation of a slide transition. Like transition direction, effects etc.

Process: -

Ø Click on transitions tab

Ø Select any transition effect

 

Sound: - It is used to add sound in your slide.

Process: -

Ø Click on transitions tab

Ø Click on sound

Ø Select any sound

 

Advance Slide: - It is used to add slide running time and on mouse click behavior.

Process: -

Ø Click on transitions tab

Ø Check on mouse click / after

Ø Click on after then set the time durations


Add animations: - It is used to add animate the objects on your PowerPoint slides. PowerPoint provides four types of animations Entrance, Emphasis, Exit and Motion path.

Process: -

Ø Select the object that you want to animate

Ø Click on animations tabs

Ø Click on add animation

Ø Select any animation effect

How to run slide continuously?

Process: -

Ø Click on slide show tab

Ø Click on set up slide show

Ø Check loop continuously until “Esc”

Ø Click on ok
